The A.I.M Project (Art in Motion) About three months ago, Jessica woke up with a crazy idea- “what if i just painted every where i went i my day to day life?” That simple idea is the premise behind the AIM Project. In those three months, Jessica has painted live and captured everything, from her daily rides on the subway, to the sunset in Miami Beach. If you haven’t seen for yourself, please click on any of the links below, and enjoy.

Toronto’s best-known urban artist is once again breaking the mold by bringing her cutting-edge contemporary art north of the city into a brand new studio gallery. The gallery, a 1,000 square-foot open space, showcases Jessica’s latest collection of pop/contemporary/modern art. Fashioned after the modern art spaces often seen in Toronto’s trendy Queen West, the gallery’s bright and spacious design is the perfect venue to view Jessica’s stunning, lively pieces. “I love nature, I love life, I love colour and I love bringing it all together in a way that hasn’t been done before,” says Jessica. “No wonder groundbreaking artists like the Group of Seven found their inspiration here! There’s so much that is waiting to be discovered.” While York Region is home to some awe-inspiring galleries in Kleinburg and Unionville, there is very little to please the area’s growing demographic of young professionals who long for the spirit of the city in the serene setting of their new uptown home. Jessica’s gallery is the answer.

For years I’ve visited and always wanted to be a participant in the Toronto Art Expo. Being an artist though, it seemed I’ve always kept forgetting to get my application in on time. But not this year. The last couple of months I’ve been painting at a frantic pace, and uncharacteristically been focusing on every minute detail for the show- I’m really looking forward to the experience. The show is a phenominal showcase of some of Canada’s best visual artists.

Over the last few months, my travels had taken me far, and opened my eyes to many things newhorizons, cultures, styles and flavors. While my paintings and jewelry remain my passions, my adventures tempted me to start expanding my artistic horizons again. Eastern Europe, at least the parts of Eastern Europe that have significance to me- are both very ugly and beautiful at the same time. Its history’s ugliness to me was black and white, while its beauty came in the form of gorgeous colors (which is how beauty is normally conveyed to me.) Almost instantly an idea struck.

“I just really wanted an event which would serve as a platform to showcase my passions- my art and jewelry. I needed this event to serve as a true reflection of me, and all that motivates me- great music, great beauty, great energy, great vibe and above all else the great people i know. From deep in my heart I thank the people that made this event a success for me and for our great cause- Club V, Leoni Hair Design, Nicolette and her phenominal team, all my makeup artists, and especially Rachel at Creating A Buzz- without whom this oh so important event to me would not have been realized….”
